A charming little forties silky rayon wrapped day dress that has a pretty floral design hand screened onto the deep burgundy base. It is incredible to think that this little beauty would have originally been intended to be worn only in the house as perhaps a light house coat or hostess dress for the day as it makes for a beautiful little day dress for a modern girl. The shoulders are lightly padded and squared off and the wrapped design allows for a peek of skin at the neck. The skirt has a pretty flare and I love the wider cut sleeves.
