Based on a vintage original, this jacket has been carefully crafted to create a classical 1940s silhouette with its super strong shoulders and tailored 8 panel body. This stunning jacket is perfect for fans of the 1940s silhouette and packed with vintage details with its double padded shoulders, curved peak lapel revere, 8 panel pattern and three covered buttons. This jacket was heavily influenced by an original and was deliberately designed to get the best fit out of the least amount of fabric (as per utility guidelines at the time). Hence the 8 panels and two piece sleeve. Jacket is tailored to fit nicely on the waist to give a slimming and elegant silhouette we've included a double shoulder pad to really enhance that iconic 1940s silhouette. The two piece sleeve is a particular favourite of the designer and gives an comfortable feel and fit. This exquisite jacket is a piece of tailoring that will partner perfectly with all your 1940s styles.
